Safety Hub was born from a ‘Eureka’ moment; the discovery of the best kept health and safety (H&S) secret in New Zealand. From that discovery we decided to focus on educating business owners, managers and employees about Occupational Safety and Health (OSH). To do that, we are going to bring you a collection of information rich video articles to help protect your company, and shorter blog updates on developments around the world that may provide your business with a competitive advantage. The People
- Tony Collins (Director)
Tony’s first exposure to safety was as a pilot with the Royal New Zealand Air Force(RNZAF). However, since 2005 he focused fulltime on H&S roles and specific OSH training has included a 3–month overseas course in safety, a Post Graduate Diploma from Otago University (Hazard Management), numerous short-courses and seminars in safety and being recognised as a registered safety professional (RSP) with the NZ Safety Council and a Graduate Member of the NZISM (Grad NZISM). In 2009 he set-up a safety consultancy business and before taking time out to develop and launch Safety Hub.
- Sarah Collins
Sarah brings a unique set of skills to Safety Hub, having worked in both HR Management and IT as a Quality Analyst and Project Manager. This experience enables Sarah to effectively manage our systems and processes and apply her (uncommon) common sense approach to the business. Sarah is the glue to our business!
